Don is part owner and opporator of Brownwood Music. He does all the sound system repair, trouble shooting and sound reinforcement. Don also is our piano mover. He works on contract with World Market doing telecomunication, internet and PA system repairs. Don served over 18 years in the Air Force working on telecommunications equipment such as SHF radios for satellite, microwave, and fiber optic paths, channel banks, multiplexers, signaling, and cryptographic systems. He installed telecommunication equipment both in a fixed and tactical environment to include all systems from user to distant end user. He also developed training classes for telecommunication, voice and data networking systems to include how to install such systems.
Don worked 6 years in commercial environment for multiple companies providing service, installation, and training on state-of-the-art telecommunications and networking equipment to include Voice Over Internet Protocol systems.
From 2012 to present it was a smooth transition from telecommunications to sound and audio. Don currently installs audio sound systems in various churches, government and privately owned facilities to include tuning them for optimal quality of sound. Also he can set up and run live sound for various local musicians’ state festivals as well as national and Texas artists such as Bellamy Brothers, Mark Chesnutt, Asleep at the Wheel, Tracy Byrd, Tracy Lawrence, Paul and Paula, Wade Hayes, and many others.
Brownwood Music is also under contract with Don Armstrong as the Tech for a company called Promation Technology and Work Market. With that said, he is a contracted technician that can give customers the ultimate audio experience with customized sound design.
